Type of the river : The river is proper for leisure paddling all season long regardless of water level.

Recommended boats : Canoe, touring kayaks. But it is also possible to go by inflatable boat. Trip duration may vary from stated though.

This is nice summer route, distant from Riga and therefore somewhat expensive and rarely choosed by most of the people. However the river is nice for paddling and fishing.

You can make a 1 to 5 day route here.

In summer time you don't  have to look above Jaunannas village (dur to low water), but the best section is Litene - P38 bridge.

Pededze routes could be extended by folowing your trip down Aiviekste river - this may also translate into some cheaper take-out and shuttle options. Contact us for details.
